How To: General filter configuration

Modified on Mon, 17 Jul 2023 at 05:07 PM

In 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform, the filters are the rules applied to screening clicks, conversions and impressions. There are many filters available and they are all available in the FIlters section of the platform.

Filters, in general, are available as a group. Each integration will have a Global FIlter Group associated by default. Every filter activated in this group will be applied globally to the Integration.

Optionally, Custom FIlter Groups can also be created and used as "exceptions" for specific Advertisers, Offers or Publishers. This is useful when you have different types of Advertisers, with different Fraud Level settings. In this case you could define settings for ClickSpam for a specific Advertiser to be different than for another. The same applies to Publisher, where one Affiliate may run Incentivised Traffic and therefore showing different traffic patterns, than what normally is expected.

Global filter group

Each new integration will have a Default Filter Group that apply globally if not other specified. The filters in this group are not set so you need to open the Filter Group and define the filters you need. There are also Presets ready to use for most common situation:

Preset Filters examples:

Custom Filter Group

Custom Filter Groups can be created in order to apply different rules to specific Offers / Publishers or Advertisers. Go to Filters and click on + NEW FILTER GROUP button

Select the Interation where this filter sets should be applied and insert Advertiser, Publisher and/or Offer that will be screened by this specific Custom Filters:

Then, define the filters and the values to use, click Save and it's done.
