Conversion Tracking Options

When a user clicks on an advertisement, a unique transaction_id is generated.

This identifier is crucial for tracking conversions, allowing a conversion to be accurately linked to the originating click through a matching transaction_id.


In 24Metrics AdSecurity we offer 3 distinct Conversion Methods:


  • S2S Postback URL (Server to Server): This method enables real-time tracking of conversions by sending server-to-server requests.
  • Clickless Conversion Postback URL: Designed for scenarios where a conversion occurs without a preceding click, enabling conversion tracking without a direct click reference.
  • Image Pixel: A method that employs a small, transparent image embedded on a webpage or in an email, triggering a conversion tracking event when loaded.


For effective conversion tracking, each offer must be configured with one of these methods in the "Offer settings" under the "Conversion Tracking" section.



S2S Postback URL (Server to Server)

The S2S Postback URL is ideal for tracking conversions that result from direct interactions on your website or app. When configuring this method, the following parameters can be included in the postback URL to ensure comprehensive conversion data capture:

Clickless Conversion Postback URL

The Clickless Conversion Postback URL caters to scenarios where conversions occur without a directly associated click.

This method allows for the tracking of such conversions via a server-to-server postback, including essential parameters like:

  • &session_time=
  • &conversion_ip=
  • &user_agent=
  • &revenue=
  • &payout=
  • &adv_sub_id=
  • &adv_sub_id_2=

Configuring Conversion Methods

To set up a Conversion Method in 24Metrics AdSecurity:

  • Navigate to the "Offer settings" section.
  • Select the "Conversion Tracking" tab.
  • Choose the appropriate Conversion Method for your offer and configure the relevant parameters as needed.
