Fraud Detection for clicks, conversions and impressions

 24Metrics AdSecurity Tracking Platform comes with an advanced built-in anti-fraud system.


Offers can be screened in real time for fraudulent traffic and flagged based on the rules/filters defined on various levels:

  • click screening
  • conversions screenig
  • impression screening
  • events screening



NOTE:  In orde to activate the fraud screening on an offer, there are 2 steps to follow:

  1. create a filter group (a set of screening rules)
  2. assign the filter group to the selected offer/s




1. How to Create a Filter Group?

First you need to create a group of filters (rules) and then apply it to selected offers:

  • go to Filters/Targeting menu
  • select the tracking/attribution integration (in case other integrations are also available)
  • click on +New Fraud Filter



  • fill in a Fraud Fiter Name
  • set the filters for Clicks
  • set the filters for Conversions
  • set the filters for Impressions
  • click Create FIlter Group button to save the settings







2. How to Assign a Filter Group to an offer (2 options)?


Once a Filter Group is created (save and refresh) follow option A or B:




    A. The offers can be added to the group from the Select Offer drop-down menu:






        B. The filter group can be assigned to the offer from: Offers Menu --> Select an offer -->  Fraud Detection TAB:

  • go to Fraud Detection TAB --> Filter Groups section
  • select the Filter Group from the dropdown menu
  • click Assign
