Tune Hasoffers Integration

Integrating TUNE (formerly HasOffers) with 24Metrics AdSecurity enhances your fraud detection capabilities for clicks and conversions. Follow these steps to establish the integration:


1. Create a new Integration

In your 24Metrics dashboard, navigate to the 'Integrations' section and click on '+Create'.

2. Select the Integration Type and assign a Name

  • Assign a distinctive name to the integration (modifiable later).
  • Select 'HasOffers' from the list of integration types.

3. HasOffers Network ID & HasOffers API Key

  • Log into your HasOffers account to retrieve your Network ID and API Key.
  • Enter these credentials into the corresponding fields in 24Metrics.
  • Click 'Synchronize'. If synchronization fails initially, retry
  • Proceed by clicking 'Next'.

4. Click Screening Setup

In this section you'll define the domain used for receiving the click for the screening and the domain that will be used to redirect the approved clicks to the offer page once the screening is successful.


This step requires you to have at least two domains listed in Hasoffers:

  1. the first will be your main click domain used for tracking links
  2. the second will be any additional domain, it only serves one purpose: send the approved clickd to the offer


Click Tracking Configuration:

  1. Select the AdSecurity Tracking Domain from the dropdown menu
  2. Parametr mapping: select the parameter used in Hasoffers for Publisher Sub ID


Approve/Rejected Clicks Configuration

  1. Send Approved Clicks to: select an option from the dropdow. Important, the domain selected must be different from the main click domain.
  2. Define the condition for the rejected clicks:
    • Block
    • Redirect to Offer Preview URL (set in Hasoffers)
    • Custom Fallback (a custom link than be defined to receive the rejected clicks)

 

Note: Configuring click screening and domain setup is essential only if implementing click fraud screening. For conversion screening alone, these steps can be skipped.

5. Conversions Setup

In the Conversions TAB, follow the next steps:

  • Enable Conversion Import: activate this option to allow the system to import the conversions recorded in Hasoffers
  • Platform Syncing: When enabled, rejected conversion status is uploaded back to Hasoffers and sync the results
  • Sync Mode:
    • Rejected Only:
    • Pending Only
    • All
  • Any Offer: this option allows you to sync back any offer OR selected offers only

5.1 - Advanced Settings


Third Party Rejection Endpoint


To sync with a third-party rejection platform or advertiser, copy the provided 'Third Party Rejection Endpoint' from the 'Advanced Settings' section and implement it with your external provider. Ensure that 'External_Transaction_ID' and 'Rejected_Reason' are included, as they are mandatory.




6. Domain Setup

Update DNS Records for your Click Domain:

  • Access your domain hosting's control panel.
  • In the 'Domain Setup' tab of 24Metrics, you'll find specific DNS records (CNAMEs) provided by 24Metrics.
  • Add these DNS settings to your click domain.


Note: After updating the CNAMEs, tracking links may experience brief downtime (typically less than 5–10 minutes) as DNS changes propagate.


By meticulously following these steps, you can effectively integrate TUNE with 24Metrics AdSecurity, bolstering your fraud detection mechanisms for both clicks and conversions.
