Special Feature: Monitoring Mode

With 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform, users can adopt the reporting mode or active blocking of clicks. The reporting only mode is also referred to as Monitoring Mode. The Feature gives users the ability to see what the filters would block if it was set in active/live mode. 


A typical use case is to get familiar with the platform and explore filter settings without running the risk of blocking clicks that were not intended to be blocked.


Monitoring Mode can be turned On and Off from the Filters section and NOT from the Integration settings.


How does it work?

  • The rules for click and conversion screening are set in Filters section (main menu).
  • Every integration, by default, will have a Global Filter Group associated where general rules/filters can be defined.
  • The Global Filter Group will appear in Monitoring Mode when an integration is created.
  • Optionally, Custom Filter Groups can be create for exceptions or rules that apply in particular situations only.
  • Every filter group, Global or Custom, has the option ro be used in Live or Monitoring Mode


If an integration will block/reject clicks and conversions, this will always depend on how the assigned Filter Group is set.
