Create the integration
- Go to Integrations -> +Create
- Assign an integration name (can be edited later as well)
- Select Google Ads
- Click Save and Proceed to Setup
Customer ID setup
- Connect to your Google Ads account and copy the Customer ID
- Insert the ID in 24Metrics
- Click Send Link Request
Note: Your customer ID is displayed in the top right corner of your Google Ads account.
Google Ads confirmation
- Go to Google Ads account Admin > Access and Security > Managers
- You should see a request from 24Metrics, click Accept
Screening filters setup
- Return to 24Metrics integration flow to continue the process:
- Define the Filters for the screening
- You may also select one of the pre-defined set of rules to match your screening goals
- Click Save to continue.
Tracking Template
Your connection between 24Metrics and Google Ads was established.
The last step will help you setting up your tracking template so you can start screening the traffic via 24Metrics.
- Go to your integration in 24Metrics
- Copy the tracking URL template
- In your Google Ads account, go to Admin > Account Setings > Tracking
- Paste the Tracking Template URL and Save
- Return to your 24Metrics integration and click Sync Tracking URL
Additional integration options:
- Active: the switch will allow the deactivation of the integration and it will stop the click screening
- Enable IP privacy: When enabled, the IP address will be obfuscated in all reports and data exports
